Summer is a great time to relax while also remembering to explore reading, math, and the arts through a different perspective. This summer we would like to offer enrichment opportunities that will both keep our students engaged in learning while pushing beyond the basic curriculum. All enrichment programs are open to incoming 5th - 8th graders. Students may sign up for one or all programs. Final schedules will be determined based on participant responses. Please complete this form to indicate interest no later than Friday, March 10.

Music Enrichment: Courses in the summer music enrichment program focus on music performance skills including tone production, technique, and music literacy. A variety of classes including ukulele, guitar, voice, woodwind, strings, brass and percussion will be offered.

ELA Author Study: Participate in a book club where we will dive into multiple works from the same author. Through this study, we will analyze an author's style, discuss our readings, collaborate across grade levels, and try to contact the author! (Meeting 2 days per week)

Math Investigations: In this program, we will explore how to use math in exciting real-world situations. We will combine math alongside what you have learned in STEM to investigate how these skills help us in real life. (Meeting 2 days per week)

Creative Writing: Within this program, we will learn and practice 4 different forms of creative writing: poetry, short stories, creative nonfiction, and photo-journalism. (Meeting 2 days per week)
