This is an application to pitch your innovative solution (concept/design/product/program) to multi-disciplinary teams from the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Innovation Ecosystem (IE) and Innovators Network (iNET) for an opportunity to collaborate with VHA to advance your solution to the next stage. VHA IE will determine the 20 innovators selected to pitch on August 26, 2021 and the winners will be announced on August 27, 2021. In addition to a formal collaboration with VHA, winners will also be invited to demo their progress at the VHA Innovation Experience (iEX) event in October 2021.

Eligibility requirements:

1) Applicants can be private sector companies, non-profits, entrepreneurs and start-ups, or academic affiliates, but all solutions pitched must be healthcare specific (patient care-centric).

2) Solutions must NOT be on the market and publicly available to purchase. The only exception is if the applicant is willing to alter their current product iteration based on the outcome of discovery or testing as described below and the product has been publicly available for 12 months or less from August 2021.

3) To collaborate with the VA, Solutions must be within one of the following design/development stages:
------ End user discovery - You/your organization has identified a problem to solve but want to co-design the solution with real end users. This will include steps including, discovery interviews and observations, as well as prototype brainstorming/ideation and prototype development.
------ Prototype testing (UX or clinical)- You/your organization has developed an MVP or beta prototype in need of user experience and/or clinical testing with end users to further refine the solution design.
