Application for the Climate Leaders Fellowship
The Climate Leaders Fellowship is a free leadership development program for students (age 14-18) interested in climate change and environmental sustainability, and is provided by a collaboration between the Deliberative Democracy Lab at Stanford University, the Rustic Pathways Foundation and Rustic Pathways.

The next cycle of the Fellowship will take place from October 13 - December 11, 2023. The final deadline to apply has been extended to September 30, 11:59pm Pacific Time. Late submissions will be considered for the waitlist.

Applications are taken on a rolling basis. You will hear back about your application sometime in September or early October, depending on when you submitted your application. Thanks for your interest!

Climate Fellows are expected to have a lot of self-motivation and desire to improve their community without expectation of personal benefit. CS Lewis once said that having "integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching." In a few sentences, please share one example of when you lived up to that quote. *
Climate Fellows are also expected to want to continually grow as people and leaders. In a few sentences, please share one example of when you proactively took action to develop your knowledge, skills, or habits outside of a scheduled event or activity (e.g., outside of school or team practice). *
How did you hear about the Fall 2023 Climate Leaders Fellowship? *
Accepted fellows will be expected to join live Zoom events (roughly 3 times per month) to meet and collaborate with other Fellows from across the world. Please indicate which times would be most convenient for you to attend (note the more slots you indicate availability for, the more likely we can accept and place you into a cohort).
