PERFORMANCE RULES
==========
We only have a few rules for participating in Open King Night and if you are new to our space, it is important for you to completely read and understand the below rules in order to perform on our stage.
RULE #1 - You can not perform to a song that contains the "n-word" if you are not of Black/African American descent. That includes edited songs that contain the lyric. No exceptions.
RULE #2 - Your act must be a drag king act. We do not care what that act is (lip syncing, juggling, spoken word, etc.) it just must be a drag king act. There are very few spaces dedicated to this art form and we want to make sure it remains a safe and accepting space for drag kings.
RULE #3 - No R. Kelly songs. If you need an explanation, this may not be the space for you.
RULE #4 - No sex toys on stage as props. We are conscious that sometimes these can be triggering for audience members and ask that they are not used as visible props in acts.
DO I GET PAID?

Yes! Each slot pays $50 at the end of the night and performers keep all of their tips.
