1. Request a song that everyone knows, not some unique song that only you and your friends found on Youtube.

2. This is a dance: So request a song that is FUN to dance to or that is fun to SING ALONG to. Unless it's a slow song, this song should be upbeat.

3. It usually takes a half hour for your song to get played, as the DJ plans song sets far in advance and needs to find a way to fit your song into the set, so be patient.
