Hello Warrior Community,

Please use this form to register for the upcoming tryouts for the Centaurus High School Dance Team. This form will need to be completed and signed by a parent/guardian prior to tryouts.

Please make sure dancers have the following at tryouts/auditions:
- Dance shoes (jazz or ballet)
- Sneakers
- Water Bottle
- Dance clothes that are fitting, and cover entire midriff area, pants for floor work
- Hair pulled back out of face, secured tightly
- Make up is not required

Dance Team will consist of the following styles of dance - jazz, hip hop, and pom.

Dancers are encouraged to attend the following in April:

1. Open Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the school from 4:30-6:00pm.

2. *Technique class with the team Wednesdays at TCDC at 1304 Centaur Village Drive by the school.

3. Parent/Dancer meeting on Tuesday April 18th from 5:00-6:00pm.

*Note - Each technique class will cost dancers $5/class. No charge for open practices.

Final auditions will be held on Tuesday April 25th and Thursday April 27th from 4:00-6:00pm.

Yearlong Commitment:

-- Summer - Dancers will attend weekly practices scheduled throughout the summer, and NDA Team Dance Camp in Ft. Collins July 10-13th.
-- Fall - Dancers will need to attend all home football games for the season and potential to attend away games that will be divided amongst the team for other fall sports.
-- Winter - Dancers will also have competitions throughout the season, schedule will be shared once the team is determined. If we choose to go to Nationals, this information will be shared later.
-- Spring - Dancers will need to attend all home basketball games, and potential to attend away games divided among the team.

Financial commitment - this team sport is expensive, and we will do what we can to help reduce costs associated. There will be fundraising opportunities offered throughout the season to help offset the fees, and money being spent. A breakdown will be provided once the team is decided and shared at our parent meeting.
