Thank you for your interest in either coming to RYLA as a member of our team for the first time or returning to our team. Please complete the following questions as thoroughly as possible. Upon completing the survey the last question CIT's and Chiefs will be provided with 5 questions that need to be mailed to me in a word document or pdf.(handwritten essays will not be accepted).

2. The essay must be in my possession via mail by May 1st, 2024 (the essay is a significant part of the overall decision so please ensure that this is done at a high level, put your passion on the paper) Please email it to

3. A committee will choose CITS and Chiefs based on the above as well as performance at previous RYLA's
4. The number of 48 CITs and 24 Chiefs will be based upon the number of students so all that apply are not guaranteed a spot.
5. Chiefs your selection will be based off of your past performance as a CIT, your essay, as well as the opportunity to ensure that new Chiefs are annually provided the opportunity to step into this role.
5. Upon acceptance all CITS and Chiefs will be required a $100 donation to cover your meals at camp. The cost of camp has increased across the board. This can be raised many different ways but the easiest way is to approach your Rotary Club as soon as you receive you acceptance email in June.
All applicants will be e-mailed with a with a letter of acceptance with further directions or rejection by June 2nd, 2024 .
