Thank you for your interest in playing for our Community Recital! This recital is open for anyone, for both CYOSC members and non-CYOSC members! We also have a grand piano at the center, so pianists are welcome too. If you'd like to participate in the recital with multiple instruments, please submit a separate application for each instrument. Recitals take place on Sunday, September 15th at Lakeview Community Center. Please note that Ms. Kate Lin, our accompanist, is only scheduled for 5:30 and 6:30 recitals. However, if you are playing Suzuki Book 1-3 repertoire, we may be able to provide an accompanist for 3:30 and 4:30 recital times as well. You may also bring your own accompanist as well.

Please note that recital fee is based on the duration of the piece. For current CYOSC members, the participation fee is $15 for up to 5 minutes of music, and $10 for additional 5 minute block. For non-CYOSC members, the participation fee is $25 for up to 5 minutes of music, and $10 for additional 5 minute block. For example, if your performance is approximately 7 minutes long, recital fee for CYOSC members is $25 and $35 for non-members.

Will you need an accompanist? *

We are pleased to have Ms. Kate Lin as our accompanist for 5:30 and 6:30 recitals. If you'd like to use her as an accompanist, please make sure to sign up for either 5:30 or 6:30 recital. However, if you are playing Suzuki Book 1-3 repertoire, we may be able to provide an accompanist for 3:30 and 4:30 recital times as well. You can also bring your own accompanist. Fee for accompanist at the recital is $10 per 5 minute block (does not include the rehearsal). If you are using our accompanist, you will be emailed at a later time to coordinate rehearsal time. The rehearsal with Ms. Lin is scheduled starting at 10:30am on Saturday, September 7th.
