Free produce boxes
We just learned we have the ability to distribute 140 produce boxes filled with 25 pounds of assorted fresh fruit and vegetables in partnership with the USDA Farmers to Family Food Box Program. Food Boxes are free to community members and will be available at 1 p.m. this Thursday, May 28 in the back of Corunna High School (where meals are picked up). Please contact Erin Levi elevi@corunna.k12.mi.us with any questions you may have on the program elevi@corunna.k12.mi.us. We ARE LIMITED TO 140 PRODUCE BOXES AT THIS TIME. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS SURVEY ONLY IF YOU HAVE A TRUE NEED. WE DO NOT BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE ENOUGH BOXES FOR EVERYONE WHO MAY NEED IT -- THERE'S A POSSIBILITY WE MAY GET MORE BOXES IN THE FUTURE AS A RESULT OF THE GRANT. We will contact families via email if you qualify to receive a produce box or not sometime tomorrow or Thursday.
