On the 29th of June, SIB-Amsterdam will kick off its Lustrum week with the central theme of ‘freedom’, aiming to understand the importance of freedom, especially now that we all have had to miss parts of our freedoms for a considerable amount of time. To gain a broader understanding of freedom and how the meaning of freedom can vary, we have invited a number of guests who have experienced a loss of freedom and who have had to give up much of their lives and flee elsewhere in order to regain freedoms. During this online event, we invite you to bring forward your own ideas on this topic and interact actively with our speakers and other participants.
