ACCEPTING APPS NOW THRU SEP 25, 2025
New Hire Orientation Sunday, Sep 28, 2025

This Application has THREE PARTS made up of seven sections.
Please complete your application by yourself to the best of your ability. The app can be completed in 30 minutes but allow up to two total hours for completion of all three parts. You can take as long as you need (it won't time out) but remember that spots are limited so the sooner the better. The paid apprenticeship program always stays very full but all good applications remain in the queue on the waiting list and do get contacted eventually as soon as spots open up.

Currently accepting new apps and essays until midnight Sep 25, 2025.
New Hire Orientation is all day Sunday, September 28.

PLEASE NOTE: It might be a few days or a maybe months before you receive a text. Our staff turnover is very low and openings depend on when senior associates submit their exit plans, indicating when a new spot can open up. Our paid apprenticeship program reopened Aug 18, 2025 (after 10 months with no spots available) and will close Sep 26 indefinitely.

There are THREE PARTS to your app. Most applicants abandon their online apps after 15-20 minutes or finish but skip part three. For those who complete all three parts, your chances of getting in are very good simply because you have demonstrated you are not afraid of hard work.

WARNING: Proofread as you go before selecting "next" because you can't go back. If you hit the back button or refresh after moving on to the next section the form will make you start all over again. Please consider opening a document on the side to copy/paste your essay answers as back up in case you lose them and need to resubmit.

The FIRST PART is our DISCLAIMER and Preliminary Questions (Sections 1 and 2) so we can be sure you know what you're getting into before you even submit your name. We want you to understand what this job is and what it is not. Very easy for most.

The SECOND PART is basic info (Sections 3, 4, and 5) along with short answer questions (Section 6). Each question starts with important information to read and ends with the opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the info and how it relates to you.

The THIRD PART is a short, personal essay (Section 7) that you'll need to email back to us within a few days to demonstrate your ability to understand the assignment and follow directions. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THE THIRD AND FINAL PART!! Probably eight out of 10 applicants never get contacted simply because they forget to submit the essay correctly (or not at all). Follow up skills are part of this job. PRO TIP: Submit your essay from the same email you provided above or it won't link to your online application.

DISCLAIMER Regarding Personal Info
Applicants are free to share as much personal information as you choose, especially if you think it will improve your chances of employment. However, please do not share anything that makes you feel uncomfortable in any way.

FYI
Employers are not allowed to ask your race, national origin, color, sex, gender identity, religion, disability (unrelated to the job), genetic information (including family medical history), or age. You can voluntarily share any of this information but you are not required to provide any of this information, even if asked.

An employer may ask you for all sorts of background information, especially during the hiring process. For example, we may ask about your employment history, your education, your criminal record, or your use of online social media. Unless the employer is asking for medical or genetic information, it's not illegal to ask you questions about your background, or to require a background check, which we do. (Employers aren't allowed to ask for medical information until they offer you a job, and they aren't allowed to ask for your genetic information - including family medical history - except in very limited circumstances. We will not ask.)

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT
When we ask about your background and learn things about you, we must treat you the same as anyone else, regardless of what information you voluntarily share regarding your race, national origin, color, sex, religion, disability, genetic info, or "older" age (over 40). Employers are not allowed to ask for additional background information based simply on the fact you are of a certain group but you are always welcome to share.

Should you disclose circumstances that might interfere with doing the job before you get the job? Only if you trust the employer to do their best to work around them when possible.

To summarize: You can share anything you want. That's completely up to you. We are interested in anything you want to share! We are limited, however, as to what we can ask.
