DATE: Monday, 4th December 2023
TIME: 10 AM - 8 PM
VENUE: Prithvi Theatre, Juhu.
WORKSHOP FEE: ₹2500 (fees) + ₹500 (refundable deposit)
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Light: If you’re an actor, you need to catch it. If you’re a Producer, you need to cost it. If you’re a Director, you need to shape it. And if you’re a designer, you need to bottle it. ‘Magic Hour’ is an introduction to the craft of lighting for the theatre, in India. It is almost completely hands-on. We’ll look at some paintings, argue about the lighting designer’s job, examine approaches and systems, and lamps and hardware and have a shot at designing and executing light plans.
