The primary focus of group-based dissertation coaching is to address challenges encountered during the dissertation completion journey and develop actionable plans to propel progress. Strategies to help move the dissertation forward, including time management, project management, writing management, and self-management will be addressed. It's important to note that coaching does not substitute for committee input, but is a focus on the process, rather than the content, of dissertation writing. Coaching is also not a substitute for therapy and some individuals may benefit from both coaching and therapy.
Small group coaching sessions cater to individuals at various stages of the dissertation process. This option is particularly helpful for those seeking to be part of a consistent and well-structured support network. By participating in group coaching, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, benefit from shared experiences, and receive guidance from an experienced coach in a group setting that fosters a supportive environment to enhance your dissertation progress.
