This on-line Cycle proposes a fresh dive into Voice Performance and Choreographic Theatre.
Open to keen first-timers and to returning pros wishing to recharge performance batteries (or add new ones…), t
he program offers a methodical and individualized approach to expressive training. First through voice, singing and movement. Voice expression (especially ‘after’ Roy Hart) is of the essence, but the aim is performative and choreographic, with moves into disassociation work (what we refer to as Dismembering Dionysos), all the way to the inclusion of texts (often in contra-diction... and as the cherry on the cake...). Cultural studies and mythology accompany this process.
The courses are both OPEN TO ALL and PROFESSIONAL. What counts above all is open-mindedness. It is much more a question of personality, quality of listening and expressive risk than of technical know-how (musical, acting or dance), which is also very welcome.
