Jewish Liturgy in ASL for CDI, CODA, ASL Interpreters
The Academy for Jewish Religion (AJR) in a partnership with the Jewish Deaf Resource Center (JDRC) is pleased to offer our third course on Jewish Liturgy for CDI, CODA, ASL interpreters, as well as Deaf prayer leaders.  The third course “Understanding and Interpreting Shabbat Service Liturgy in ASL" is listed under AJR’s program, "Etzba Elohim: Understanding and Interpreting Jewish Prayers in ASL."

The goal of this third course is to train students to better understand Jewish liturgy for Shabbat services so that they can meaningfully interpret in ASL.  While some Jewish education is incorporated in the course material, the focus of this course is on interpreting Jewish texts.
