We value the time & talents of our local musicians! Solo performers will receive $50. Duos will receive $100. Bands of 3+ will receive $150. Plus you are encouraged to collect tips! Checks are hand-delivered at 5:30pm day-of, prior to performance. Current W-9 forms must be submitted to Guinevere@mainstreetwooster.org upon confirmation of booking. (form: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf) If you are a returning musician & your W-9 is on file & current, there is no need to resubmit.

Location to play will be under the pavilion in the NE Quadrant. This location is outdoors. In case of inclement weather, bookings are subject to cancellation for safety concerns. Cancellation calls can be made at the discretion of MSW staff or musicians up until 4 hours prior to the event. Cancellation notification will be posted through MSW social media. Musicians must start playing to be paid. MSW does not assume liability for any damages or incidences during performances. If musicians need to cancel for other reasons, the program manager should be notified ASAP with at least a full week's notice. Failure to comply may result in the musician being banned from bookings in future seasons. 

Electric: 110 electric is available for you. We do not provide sound equipment & recommend to bring an extension cord with you. Plastic electrical boxes are located near the trees & must be pulled-up and turned-over to access the outlets. The NE corner tree box near the brick building is the closest. You may wish to tape down your cords over the walkway.
 
Main Street Wooster covers the advertising of the event. Social media sponsored posts, Daily Record, Wooster Weekly, WQKT, street banners, A-frames, WCCVB electronic signs, MainStreetWooster.org etc. and more.

Musicians are requested to carry both A-frame signs to the side of our storage unit at the end of the night. It is located just around the corner on the way to the public parking lot, immediately across from B. Radiant Lash Studio. Signs may just be slide between the storage unit & utility box.

Please kindly return this form as soon as possible, but no later than Feb. 4, 2024. Once all forms have been reviewed, you will be notified if you have been booked by February 11, 2024. Pls confirm receipt of booking and if you are a new musician, please provide jpg/or png images that may be used with permission for marketing purposes.

It is important to state in all marketing materials that Main Street Music is provided in partnership with The City of Wooster & to also thank our generous sponsors that make this program possible. If booked, an approved marketing template will be provided. Musicians who help promote see a significant increase in audience size!
