Two of the most creative theological minds of the 20th century, Sergei Bulgakov and Hans Urs von Balthasar are responsible for interpreting and presenting Early Christian and Eastern Christian sources to the West. This master class will compare their understanding of the cosmic body of Christ to offer a constructive categories for thinking through the incarnation’s relationship to the created world.
This event is open to faculty and graduate students and is co-jointly hosted by the Elliott Allen Institute for Theology and Ecology (EAITE) and the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies (MASI).
