Kohl Children’s Museum is seeking preschool through third-grade educators to learn about and implement the Project Approach in their classrooms. KCM will serve as a resource and learning laboratory throughout the program. Early Childhood Connections (ECC) includes professional development for teachers and interactive learning experiences for students and their families.

Programming content is approved by ISBE and connects to content areas by addressing Illinois Early Learning and Development, Teaching Strategies, Common Core, Next Generation Science, and National Council for Social Studies Standards.  

ECC addresses classroom environments, curriculum design, observation and documentation, professional development, and family involvement. Participants will receive 18 hours of Gateways/Illinois CPDUs upon completion of the program.
