The Department of Chemistry - Hephaestus Advanced research Laboratory- of International Hellenic University is pleased to invite researchers from various institutions to submit research abstracts for consideration to the International Conference on Planning, Challenges of Disaster Management and Resilience.

The hybrid conference will accept papers on the following five (5) thematic areas namely:

1) Disaster Preparedness

2) Disaster Response

3) Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery

4) Disaster Prevention and Mitigation

5) Integration of risk and Resilience with Disaster management

PUBLICATION OF PAPERS
All the conference abstracts will be published as one dedicated volume in Proceedings of Abstracts with ISSN.
We have got acceptance from International Publishers to edit a book based on our conference. Furthermore, we have got acceptance from Safety (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/safety/special_issues/manmade_disasters#planned ), to publish peer-reviewed papers in the Special Issue "Management of Manmade Disasters" of that journal. All the papers for the journal and for the book will be peer-reviewed by international experts before publication. The proposed book and journal are indexed by the Scopus database.
