Join us for a youth poetry workshop facilitated by Heard Em Say in partnership with Hillsborough County Public Libraries. The workshop will sharpen poetry writing and performance skills while exploring themes of nature, memory, and lived experience. A Heard Em Say teaching artist will guide students through the use of creative writing tools, like metaphor and personification, as well as provide prompts for students to produce their own original poetry. Youth will also have an opportunity to share and receive feedback on their work.
