Oxford Praxis Lab
Lively Worlds is a think-and-do tank that aims to empower a socially and ecologically regenerative future. Our strategy is to bridge the world of practice with insights from critically-minded academic work in the humanities and social sciences.

Integral to our work is our Oxford Praxis Lab. To us, ‘praxis’ describes the intersection of theory and practice, and defines how students who see the world through a critical lens work to change it informed by theoretical frameworks.

Join the Oxford Praxis Lab and help us shift systems toward social and ecological regeneration. Our year-long Praxis Lab brings like-minded students together to provide a space for critical reflection, co-learning, community-building and practical applications, in order to empower one another in our unconventional pursuits towards a regenerative world. "Praxis" describes the intersection of theory and practice: for Michaelmas term, we will be learning, reading and reflecting about different aspects of critical theory such as postcolonial, feminist, and critical race theory. In Hilary Term we mobilise our knowledge to member-driven case studies of ecologically and socially regenerative businesses and initiatives.
