Epic: An Apparo Program
Epic increases the impact of Charlotte area nonprofits through small-scale technology projects. Epic projects are Community Impact Projects (CIPs) with a twist.

CIPs partner a nonprofit-in-need with a skilled volunteer team for a project facilitated by Apparo. Epic trains project managers and consultants, to serve as volunteer project facilitators, referred to as Change Agents.

Are You Apparo's Next Change Agent?
If you have a passion for technology, and its ability to change the way we live and work, and you love your community and want to give back in a way that will make a difference for years to come, you could join our ranks of rock-star Change Agents.

Key requirements include:
-Minimum of 3 years project management or consulting experience
-Attending 2 Epic training sessions
-Comfortable acting as the CIP liaison between Apparo, the nonprofit, and the volunteer team
-Dedicating 1-2 hours a week during your project (projects typically last around 12-16 weeks), including communicating, scheduling, meeting, and completing documentation
-Change Agents will be expected to facilitate one CIP per year with the intention of continuing to volunteer yearly
