Being a leader in the community starts with being of service.

From the very start, volunteers have played a vital role in the success of Yakima Pride each year. Volunteering is an opportunity to meet new people, share new experiences, and to give back to your community. Plus, it’s just plain fun! There’s nothing like walking through the Pride Parade as a volunteer, working behind the scenes at the Festival, or helping one of our first-time attendees. With many different volunteer departments, there is something for everyone, and we need your skills to help execute our city’s largest LGBTQ+ Pride event.

All year long we are engaged in planning events, conferences and gatherings for our community. It really takes a team effort to produce all of our Yakima Pride events. From the Rainbow Prom to Pride Day At The Fair to monthly LGBTQ+ Coffee Socials we are busy year ’round creating inclusive and safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
