Bloom Volunteers Application Form

 - 25 May (We suspect this will be the last round, as we received far more volunteer applications than we could take on at Emergence Festival last year)

Location: Midginbil Eco Resort in Midginbil, NSW Australia.

Hello and welcome!

We are looking for motivated people like you to join the team, offering a highly subsidized ticket in exchange for your time and talents.

Thanks for your interest in joining the volunteers team for Bloom Festival! This team is an essential component to the magic that is Bloom. Our volunteers are the backbone of the festival and are pivotal in making the event an unforgettable experience, adding that extra level of care and flow to the event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 - All applicants must be at least 21 years old as of the date of the festival.  
 - If you are selected for a role, a Bloom team member will set up a chat with you to clarify the details.
 - Sign up & payment is due 10 days after you've been offered a volunteer role to secure your spot on the team
 - Feel free to email info@theembodiedmovement.com if you have any questions about a role.

VOLUNTEER ROLES AVAILABLE
Set up / packdown / cooking crew volunteers:
- Support the set up of the festival (including interior design decor), the day before the festival begins (arrive by 9am)
- Support the packdown, on the last day of the festival (leave by 6pm)
- Support the kitchen for one meal during the festival

Sound & Lighting tech person:
- Support the set up, pack down and use of sound and lighting equipment through out the festival
- Must have ample experience operating simple stage lighting and mixing desks.

Emotional support crew
- Conduct 2 x emotional support shifts during the festival (4 - 5 hours each)
- Must be an experienced counselor/coach or a licensed therapist. Ideally with qualifications.

Sacred Fire Keepers
- Care for the fire with reverence, intention and sacredness through out the festival.
- There will be 2 or 3 people on the sacred fire team this year

Videographer / photographer:
- Videographer takes footage of specific key aspects and edits footage
- Photographer takes photos of specific key aspects and edits shots
- If you are selected for this role, a Bloom team member will set up a chat with you to clarify the details
- Must provide evidence of past work in or similar to festival photography.

First aid ninjas
- Provide first aid in shifts through out the festival.
 - There will be 2 or 3 people on the first aid team this year
- Must possess relevant first aid qualifications
