***PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY***
CUBE's annual BioMedical Engineering Competition (BMEC) is happening soon!
BMEC is a competition where students are given a BioMedical-themed engineering design problem. You are given 2 days to work on it in groups of 4 or 5. It is a great opportunity to utilize problem solving skills, creativity, and innovation to address relevant issues in the biomedical engineering field. At the end of the competition, you will be presenting ideas to judges who are professionals in the field, and networking with individuals who share your passions. This competition will also help you develop teamwork, presentation, and engineering design skills.
Winning teams will receive an amazing new opportunity: a spot in the Toronto Biomedical Engineering (ToBE) Conference. More information on this closer to the competition day.
No previous experience is required and all students can apply. First years especially are strongly encouraged to apply. CUBE Execs well versed with the process and problem statement will be available throughout the creative process to help with questions.
