Braves L.E.A.D. is a comprehensive leadership development program that encourages students to be both informed and engaged citizens. Based off the Social Change Model of Leadership, students will learn in a co-curricular model that incorporates seminars, campus events, and volunteer opportunities.Through this program students will be able to strengthen their leadership skills and redefine what leadership means to them. All students are encouraged and welcomed to participate in Braves Lead. This program would be able to be completed within 20 to 25 hours.
Submission of this application indicates interest in the program and does not constitute a commitment to participate. Orientation sessions will be provided to introduce and enter applicants to the program. Attendance at an Orientation session is required to participate in the program. If you are unable to make the orientation times, but would like to participate in the program, please email

Tier 1 Requirements
- Attend an orientation
- Attend all 4 required seminars
- Perform volunteer hours (virtual or in person) that are submitted and approved through Braves Volunteer
- Join a student organization
- Attend 3 approved civic engagement experiences
- Write short reflections for each seminar, volunteer hours, and civic engagement events
- Perform an exit interview with Lewis J. Burger Center Staff
After completing the program, you will receive a Braves Lead graduation cord, a certificate of completion, and other incentives/giveaways!
