Baltimore Zionist District is honored to bring the Yellow Candle Project, which originally was created and distributed in the United Kingdom to the Baltimore community. Yellow Candle is a practical and informal educational tool to remember those murdered during the Holocaust. The candle comes with a card displaying the name, age, date and place of death of a victim of the Holocaust. The candle will be lit on Yom HaShoah eve on April 7th. Each candle costs $2 which is donated back to the Yellow Candle Project.
