Gloucestershire Scouting on the Water Weekend - 21st to 22nd Sept 2019
Gloucestershire Scouting on the Water is running a training / assessment weekend
from Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd September 2019 at Croft Farm, Tewkesbury.

THE FORMAT WILL BE RUN THE SAME AS LAST YEARS AND WILL BE LIMITED ON NUMBERS.

The weekend gets booked up quickly, so don't delay in completing this form and remember you must pay to confirm your booking.

The weekend is open to Scouts(13+), Explorers, Network and Leaders.

Registration is from 8.30am till 9.15am on the Saturday morning. Collection from 3pm on the Sunday.
             
The weekend is intended to enhance people's kayaking and canoeing skills, whether it will be for training, coaching or being assessed for "Water Permits".

Cost £44 per participant. If you're a leader and are willing to helping with camp setup on the Friday night then please go to the Helper form on the Water Activities website - http://activities.gscouts.org.uk

The fee includes camping, daily launching, meals from Saturday lunch to Sunday lunch. Breakfast on Sunday. Also hire and maintenance of boats plus equipment.

You will receive sessions on the water in both kayak, canoe and SUP with the opportunity to network and ask questions.

Preparation towards British Canoeing Personal Performance Paddle Discover & Paddle Explore Awards will take place with our coaches depending on numbers.

Canoeandkayakstore will almost certainly provide display & taster kayaks/canoes over the weekend.

***** As with all Scouting Events we shall need help setting up and clearing the camp, along with the movement of paddle craft. So lots any help would be appreciated throughout the weekend, but especially on the Friday and Sunday afternoons. *****
