In order to assist eligible families and individuals with children (ages 5-12) Lacawac provides scholarship assistance for our camp programs. Families may apply for support for more than one child however, depending on demand, scholarship funds may be limited to one per family. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that every application will result in a scholarship. Only one application is allowed per child. Lacawac will award scholarships based on the following considerations:
- Scholarship fund availability
- Demonstrated financial need or extenuating circumstances of the applicant family.
- Demonstrated interest in camp/nature from the child.
- Available space in camp sessions
Lacawac Offers Scholarships for the following camps:
JUNE 24-28 - Creature Feature A (Age 5 and 6)
JULY 1-5 - Exploring Nature A (Age 7 and 8)
JULY 8-12- Wilderness Adventure A (Age 10-12)
JULY 15-19 - Eco Investigators A (Age 9 and 10)
JULY 22-26 - Creature Feature B (Age 5 and 6)
JULY 22-26 - Interpreting Nature Art Camp A (7-9)
JULY 29-AUG 2 - Earth Expressions Art Camp A (10-12)
JULY 29-AUG 2 - Exploring Nature B (Age 7 and 8)
AUG 5-9 - Interpreting Nature Art Camp B (7-9)
AUG 5-9 - Wilderness Adventure B (Age 10-12)
AUG 12-16 - Eco Investigators B (Age 9 and 10)
AUG 12-16 - Earth Expressions Art Camp B (10-12)
