Summer Strength and Conditioning Workouts for All Athletes in grades 9 - 12
The summer strength & conditioning program will be mandatory for all student-athletes at Catholic High (grades 9 - 12).   All student athletes must have a current physical to participate.  This is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the Free Physical Day which will be held the afternoon of May 9, 2023.  More details on that event will be coming soon.  DEADLINE TO SIGN UP FOR SUMMER WORK OUTS IS May 12, 2023.  If your physical is not done before or on 5/9/23, your coaches will be notified.

Changes have been made to our program. The main change that was made is we will no longer require our athletes to pay to participate in the summer program. The start date for the summer program will be on June 5th, and the end date will be on July 21st with our All School Lift-A-Thon.

All student athletes will participate in the Lift-A-Thon, which will be a one rep max in the power clean. This will be an opportunity for all of our athletes to showcase their work from the summer. We will also use this as a fundraiser for summer stipends and future weight room equipment.

With a start date of June 5th and a finish date of July 21st, this will give families 4 weeks of opportunity for vacations that will not cut into the summer program. School is not set to begin until the week of August 7th.

There will be no summer program on the following dates:
  • Memorial day week May 29 - June 2,
  • Fourth of July Week July 3 - July 7
  • July 24 - August 5th.

Keep in mind if you are a Fall sport athlete to check with your coach before planning anything after the end of the summer program.
