Here is the sign up sheet for a new club initiative to give more competitive fencers an opportunity for additional training. If you're planning on going to local, regional, and national tournaments, this class is for you. Wednesday night open fencing at Asheville Catholic will still be offered.
Please only sign up if you plan to attend. We will book the venue and incur expenses based on signups.
Cost is $40/month on top of club membership. This is how we will pay for this space. We will use the Pushpress app to collect the fee each month. (details forthcoming)
Must have your own gear including electric (since we can't bring stuff), all weapons. There will be scoring machines but you must bring our own working gear, spare weapons and body cords will be minimal.
Start Date will be Monday August 21st. This is the soonest we can book the venue. There will not be an end date unless we need to change the schedule.
Time will be 6:30-730 or 6:30-8:30 depending on interest level. Mondays.
Example class schedule:
- 10 min warmup
- 15 min footwork
- 15 min group lesson / drills
- 20 min bouting
(If we go for two hours, the proportions will be similar)
