Do you need someone to talk to?

We are a network of Jewish emotional and spiritual volunteer-supporters  with emotional and spiritual advising skills, including licensed therapists, social workers, clergy, chaplains, and advanced students,  seeking to help persons over the age of 18, regardless of religious identity or affiliation, during these challenging times. We are offering support during the COVID-19 pandemic and after.

Note that RUACH DOES NOT provide mental health, medical or other therapeutic care. We are providing short-term (1-6 sessions) volunteer support to help meet immediate emotional and spiritual needs. Following your time with us, if you wish, you will be referred to a local service agency. Services provided by RUACH are not a substitute for mental health care, therapy, or psychological or medical services

We are a nondenominational project -- volunteer-supporters span the Jewish denominational spectrum and can provide support for those from any denominational or religious background. We provide inclusive and accessible support to persons from all walks of life, regardless of religion/observance level, age, nationality, gender identity, orientation, or political affiliation.  

If you want support and think we can help, please fill out this form and you will be matched with a volunteer-supporter for a 30-60 minute initial conversation. Your volunteer-supporter will reach out to you within five week days [Monday - Friday]. If you have not heard from a volunteer-supporter within one week [Monday - Friday] of sending your request, please contact us again. Information provided in this form will be kept confidential and ONLY shared with your volunteer-supporter, the volunteer-supporter intake team and RUACH administrators [see our Privacy Policy].
