Convenors - are responsible for setting up an event with the support of the Activity Coordinators. Convenors gather emails of people who would like to attend, and forward them on to the person or persons who are hosting the event. Convenors are needed for activities such as Drinks and Appetizers, Wine Tasting, Book Clubs, Games Night, Movie Night, Hiking, Biking, Pickleball, Arts/Crafts, Cooking, Stitch Group, Photography, Dining Out.
Hosts - they arrange a place to have the event. It could be their home, a park or a community space depending on the event.
As this group is run totally by volunteers, I understand that I will participate in volunteering in some capacity according to my ability and circumstances.
