The CORE (Oceanographic Center of Stratigraphic Resources) is a research laboratory specializing in processing and interpretation of marine geophysical (seismic and rock magnetics), geochemical and sedimentological data. The CORE is funded by FAPESP, CAPES, Petrobras and USP. The CORE functions as a shared research platform, available to researchers and academician from IO, POLI, IGC, IAG of USP and other Brazilian and international universities.
