Traditional Easter bread is braided with three ropes. Supposedly, the three ropes symbolize the elements of the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit) and the braided wreath represents the crown of thorns Jesus wore on the cross during his crucifixion. The eggs represent the new life we have in Christ. We will be making individual nests that will serve 1-2 people or a family wreath that will serve 4-6 people a delicious treat on Easter Morning.
