This waiver covers Big Woody Rides held August 21-22, 2021. I understand that riding a mountain bike is strenuous exercise and has some danger. I give statement that I am in good health and there is no medical reason that I should not attempt such a feat. I know that mountain biking poses many hazards, not limited to falls, bad weather, heat, and generally dangerous conditions. I am entering this event with full knowledge that I could easily be hurt or face life threatening injuries. I fully assume all risks of injury, illness or death, and release covenant not to sue, and discharge Fort Tuthill County Park, Coconino County, Aravaipa Running LLC, Aravaipa Rides, the race director, volunteers, all sponsors, Medical and any individuals or groups associated with this event, all actions, claims or demands for damages arising out of my participation in this event. The forgoing release is binding upon me personally, as well upon my heirs, executors, and administrators, and all members of my family, or anyone else who may make claim on my behalf. In case of withdrawal, a 75% credit towards a future Aravaipa Rides event will be provided if notified in writing to
info@aravaiparides.com 30 days or more out from the event. At the race director’s discretion, within 30 days up to 72 hours of the event, a 50% credit may be provided in case of injury (with doctor’s note) or family emergency (with appropriate documentation). No credits will be provided for relay team withdrawal. Credits will be good for one year from date of issuance. No refunds, transfers, or rollovers will be issued under any circumstance. No credit will be issued within 72 hours of the event or after the event. Race goodies may only be picked up in person at packet pickup or on race day, we cannot mail out shirts to participants that do not attend the event. I further grant my irrevocable permission to Aravaipa Running LLC, and its authorized agents, to use my name and any photographs, videos, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in this event. I agree to receive email communication from Aravaipa Running and Aravaipa Rides regarding this race and future events. If a participant is under 18 years of age, the athlete's parent or legal guardian grants permission for the youth to compete and will be present on race day. No REFUNDS or TRANSFERS once entry is accepted.
