The Permaculture Design Course - PDC is an intensive immersion in the Permaculture universe.
This course is designed to support students to develop an ecological language, an understanding of the basic principles of ecological and regenerative design, and the application of this knowledge to redesign communities and settlements according to the rules of nature.

The main purpose of this design course is to develop effective design capabilities through the practical application of knowledge and tools. This is the opportunity to learn through participation in a true community design process.

The course will take place in the Aldeia do Vale project, between Sintra and MAfra, and it will fulfill the traditional 2 week (intensive) format with a free day (over 100 hours) created by Bill Mollison, combining practical classes (40%), field trips, interactive games, dynamic activities, sharing of experiences, community experience and much more. This format allows you to immerse yourself in Permaculture design principles, which will be applied and presented by students in the final design works.
To qualify for the certificate, participants must attend 80% of the course.
