Instructions To The Monitor/Evaluator

The candidate must provide full PPE.
The condition of the candidate's gear should be taken into consideration as long as an attempt is made to complete the objective.
Evaluators should as for discrepancies with equipment.
Steps do not have to be performed in numerical order.
The candidate shall be given the instructions below before beginning the exercise.

Instructions To The Candidate

The candidate shall properly DON the PPE within TWO minutes with 100% accuracy.

15 Steps *

1) Don protective trousers and boots

2) Dons protective hood

3) Dons protective coat

4) Assures that all available fasteners are fastened

5) Completely opens the cylinder valve

6) Dons the backpack assembly

7) Adjust and tighten all available straps

8) Dons facepiece assembly

9) Tightens facepiece to obtain proper seal (no air leakage)

10) Adjusts hood over the head and around facepiece

11) Dons the helmet and secures the chin strap

12) Establish air supply to facepiece

13) PASS device should be in operational mode

14) Dons gloves

15) Completed evolution within TWO minutes with NO SKIN EXPOSED
