Planning for Crop on the Cape begins many months before we all get together for our weekend of creativity and socializing. Normally, by this point in the fall, we’ve finalized classes with our teachers, signed up vendors, updated our website, and are ready to open event registration by early November. But the pandemic has changed everything.

We’ve been waiting and hoping that the pandemic would subside to a point where state regulations would change and allow us to hold an in-person event the size of the Crop on the Cape event. However, as of September 29th, the policy in Massachusetts is that indoor gatherings at all venues and locations are limited to 25 people. With the number of new Covid cases rising again in our region, it seems highly unlikely that the state will ease these restrictions any time soon. Taking this into account and recognizing that we’ve run out of time to adequately plan for the March 2021 event, we have decided to postpone Crop on the Cape until March 2022. (get dates from the hotel). We find this just as disappointing as you do and sincerely hope you understand.

No doubt you are saying to yourself, “I already paid for the 2020 Crop on the Cape. What happens now?”

We had applied your 2020 registration fee to the 2021 event but since we are now postponing this event, we are offering the following two options:

Option 1: We can put your Crop on the Cape 2020 registration fee towards the 2022 event. This will guarantee that you will receive the same package you purchased for the 2020 event at the 2022 event.  
 
Option 2: We can refund you your Crop on the Cape 2020 registration fee. (The PayPal transaction fee will be deducted from your refund as stated in our policy.) Choosing option 2 does not guarantee you a seat at the March 2022 event. When registration opens for the 2022 event, you will need to register again just as you normally would.
