AAAI-20 PC Nomination
Thank you for volunteering or nominating one or more other people for the AAAI program committee.  Before you fill out the form, please consider the following.

If you are nominating someone else, you do not need to have checked whether the nominee is willing to serve; approved nominees will receive an invitation, which they may decline if they so choose.

Ideally, PC members have a history of publishing at AAAI or related top-tier conferences (e.g., ACL, CVPR, ICAPS, IJCAI, ICML, KR, NeurIPS, UAI, etc. -- in fact we hope to bring in more qualified people who haven’t previously reviewed for AAAI) and normally should have already completed or be reasonably near the completion of their PhDs; however, exceptionally excellent candidates can always be considered, for example, who have published consistently and significantly in those venues in the last 2-3 years.

Note that serving on the scientific program committee of AAAI is a serious responsibility that requires not only a high level of scientific expertise and familiarity with the conference review process, but also a nontrivial time commitment for reviewing papers, availability for discussion, and a professional and responsible attitude.

We will screen candidates.  The form asks for the candidate’s DBLP publication page (to be given as a URL, e.g., https://dblp.uni-trier.de/pers/hd/n/Newell:Allen), which will help us screen candidates and which we will also use in other phases of the process.

The timeline for PC members is as follows:

August 30 - September 10: Paper Bidding Window
October 11: PC Reviews Due
October 21-26: Post Feedback Discussion Period
October 27: Deadline for Updates to PC Reviews
