Overland Track App - Beta Testing

I am nearly finished building an app to help support people planning and walking the Overland Track. The app works offline and has articles & checklists to help people prepare and have fun on the track. It also has a GPS map, photos and terrain profiles to help you plan & navigate on track. Think of it as a guidebook with GPS, I plan to sell the app App Store and Google Play later this year.

In November I looking for people to help me beta test the app. There are a few specific groups of people I am looking to for help.

1) People who have walked the Overland Track. To play with the app, look through articles to provide feedback on how it could be improved based on their experience.

2) People who are planning on walking the Overland Track in November who will be able to install the app and use it on track. I am hoping they will be able to provide feedback on functionality, bugs and any issues that pop up on track.

3) People who are currently planning to walk the Overland Track and can review the app functionality in their trip planning phase.

I have done significant testing already, there will always be bugs and issues. I am very open to hearing any suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Some enhancements will need to be added in future versions, but I will solve any bugs or issues that I see as critical before we go live.

Unfortunately, I can only choose a limited number of people, so please do not take it personally if I don't get back to you straight away. Sadly the app files I send out for Apple devices will expire within 12 months. My plan is to make the app free for the first few days after launch to give people who register (and your friends) a chance to download the official release for no charge.
