We are collecting information on our contributors here for a few reasons:
1. We want to keep in touch with you in the future
2. We want to better understand how we can support your participation in the pyOpenSci community
3. We'd like to collect some demographic information (optional). Demographic information helps us understand who is in our community and what their needs are. It's important to pyOpenSci that a diverse group of participants feel included and supported here.
Don't worry, we won't flood your email inbox. Email correspondence will be limited to:
a) review invitations;
b) periodic (annual) invitations to update your contact information and
c) periodic checkins to ensure our review process is operating as it should.
