Josefov Summer School 2023: "To Get Things Done: Energy Politics and Aesthetics"

We would like to invite you to participate in the fifth edition of Summer School Jaroměř-
Josefov. The international postdisciplinary workshop is focused on relations between diverse practices in the field of aesthetics, politics, performance and public space. The workshops, discussions and activities will be led by international artists, activists and academics.

This year's edition is entitled To Get Things Done: Energy Politics and Aesthetics and will explorhow energy, action, but also exhaustion and leisure are related and interconnected on a personal,  social, and planetary level. At the same time, summer school offers free time to refresh ourselves in a convivial atmosphere with leisure activities and with people from different countries and backgrounds.

The project is a part of Erasmus + Blended Intensive Programme. The costs of travel, accommodation and meals for all participants will be covered from the project’s fund. After attendance, students will be offered 3 ECTS at their respective universities.

The Summer School is organised by the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at Faculty of Arts (Palacký University Olomouc) in partnership with Department of Theatre Studies of Faculty of Arts (Masaryk University in Brno), the Institute of Polish Culture at Faculty of Polish Studies (University of Warsaw), and The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
