It feels like an age since we’ve been able to host the pitch in person, and whilst our digital pitches aren’t going anywhere, we couldn’t be more excited to be able to return to hosting physical pitches. Even better, we’re back in our home in London to host The Very Big Indie Pitch at Pocket Gamer Connects London, our flagship and largest pitch of the year.

Taking place within Pocket Gamer Connects London 2022, our unique speed dating format gives each developer 5 minutes (including Q&A) with each room of expert judges, meaning entrants will get feedback in real-time and post-event via email too. Think speed-dating for developers and experts, and you get the idea.

That's not all though, as the top three will also be interviewed and get editorial coverage across Steel Media's, making this a great chance to get you, your studio and your game played by the world. There's also free tickets and event space at a future Pocket Gamer Connects up for grabs to the winner too.

The deadline to submit your game is midnight on Monday 7th February 2022.

If you get the nod we’ll be in touch with all the details (including your TWO FREE passes to Pocket Gamer Connects). Note: Non-shortlisted entries do qualify for a discounted PGC ticket.

The basic criteria:

You can pitch games for Mobile and AR in the Mobile Pitch, or Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Linux in the PC+Console Pitch
You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
We prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that are out too
We allow studios with a max of 12 members to enter the Big Indie Pitch (this includes the staff of any partners you are working with)

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover costs associated with being a part of the event.
