KSU is proud to present The Celebration of Women Expo. As part of the The Future is Equal Campaign, KSU seeks to celebrate Maltese female pioneers who have defied and overcome gender stereotypes and have successfully cemented themselves as well-respected experts in their respective fields. The Expo will be taking place from the 8th till the 10th of March 2021 at Floriani Hall, Grand Hotel Excelsior, Valletta between 18:00 till 22:00.

The Expo will consist of a panel discussion based on different themes each day, along with a number of projects made and curated by female students and a number of testimonials showing throughout with the scope of truly embracing these women. In brief, the discussions seek to raise awareness on certain gender stereotypes and norms that are still serving as obstacles, most particularly to women with the intention of breaking such stigmas and empowering women, particularly students to strive to fulfil their full potential.

The Panel Discussion themes are as follows:

Monday 8th March at 19:00 - Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World.
Tuesday 9th March at 19:00 - Media and The Image of Women.
Wednesday 10th March at 19:00 -Women in 2021: Stereotypes, Norms & Mainstreaming.

Due to the current situation, places are limited and will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. All social distancing requirements and other health restrictions will be imposed at the event.
