Thank you for your interest in joining the WyoPanama field course, a course offering of the University of Wyoming. The official course title is "Exploring the Ecological Culture of Panama" (HP-4152). In January 2023, in addition to exploring some about human-nature interactions in Panama, we will be using detailed studies of mixed-species bird flocks to explore basic ecological questions and aspects of scientific communication. Please answer the following questions; these questions should give you some idea about what you might expect from this course. Course dates: 3-16 January 2023
Estimated cost: ~$3200 estimated maximum (this includes all food, airfare, lodging, activities). This is all dependent on airfare. This can be offset by UW travel grants (Honors/Cheney/etc.). Actual average cost to students historically runs about $1200-$1700.
