What standing committees would you be interested in joining?

Per the YEMS MS 177 PTA Bylaws, the following committees are formed each school year:

Budget Committee. Consists of five [5] persons and chaired by the Treasurer or Co-Treasurers, charged with proposing PTA budget for approval at the June General Membership Meeting

Audit Committee. Consists of three to five [3-5] persons, charged with reviewing the PTA Financial Affairs once a year

Nominating Committee. Consists of three to five [3-5] persons, established during the March PTA General Membership Meeting, charged with soliciting nominations for June PTA and SLT elections

As you know, one of the main functions of the PTA is to fundraise to supplement where the DOE-based budget falls short. Currently our ability to hold in-person fundraising events is restricted. However, we are looking at "virtual" events. We would love to hear your suggestions and ideas for such events. Please let us know below or reach us directly at pta@ms177.org:
