2020-2021 Fall Reopening: Feedback on "Medium" Spread Level Reopening Plan
SDPC is working on plans for reopening school buildings in the 2020-21 school year and is currently exploring various options based on available guidance from public health experts. We want your feedback to understand what is most important to you!

The "Traditional", ongoing 5 day per week face-to-face schedule can occur based on DHEC guidelines determining Pickens County is Low or No spread of COVID-19 in the area. During High spread, SDPC will deliver instruction with the Virtual (at-home) method for safety of our students.

DHEC has announced that they will provide weekly updates regarding COVID-19 spread levels. SDPC will announce on a weekly basis which scenario we will follow based on DHEC information.

With this survey, we are attempting to determine what option our parents support during MEDIUM SPREAD level.

We are  asking families to provide input on two Medium spread level options. We understand that both options have pros and cons and may require families to adjust their family and work schedules. Families’ input and feedback are essential as the District plans for reopening in the fall. Throughout the weeks ahead, we will continue to communicate to families as we know that families will need time to plan and prepare for the fall.
