Guidelines:

Entrant must be a registered participant of the TNT Youth Conference
 - Monologues can be 1 - 2 minutes long with a 30 second grace period
 - Judge will have up to 2 minutes to give an oral critique immediately following the performance
 - Monologues can be original, published or selections from other materials, primarily spoken (not sung or rapped) and in good taste (no bad language).
 - Monologues must be memorized.
 - A chair may be used
 - The focus is on movement and dialogue and how well the actor persuades the audience that the character is in a certain setting.

Top 5 highest scoring monologues will perform at the Awards Assembly
5 Honorable Mentions at the Awards Assembly

If the material is under copyright restrictions, permission to perform must be shown prior to performance.

Entry Fees:

Fees: $5 per entrant - payable by the theatre at registration.

Costumes:

No Costumes should be used
