2023 Shippensburg Christmas Parade Registration
Get ready to feel merry and bright as Shippensburg kicks off the holiday season on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 5 p.m.

The Shippensburg Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, December 2, at 5 PM. Sponsored by the Downtown Organizations Investing Together (D.O.I.T.), the parade will feature marching bands, dance groups, churches, Boy and Girl Scouts, businesses and other organizations, and Santa Claus. The parade procession will begin on North Fayette Street to King Street and continue north for several blocks to disperse onto Prince Street. The 2023 theme is “A Gingerbread Christmas.”

DOIT is currently accepting registrations for participation in the parade. To secure your place in the line-up, please complete the registration form below.
  • The line-up will be posted by Thursday, Nov. 30th on our social media pages as well as printed in the Shippensburg News Chronicle.
  • Prizes will be based on THEME related decorations.
  • Participants are NOT permitted to throw candy or give-aways into the crowd. If caught, you/your group will no longer be permitted to participate in events. All items MUST be handed to the attendees.
  • No FAKE Santas are permitted in the parade. DOIT has invited the REAL Santa to join us and will be the grand finale of the parade!
  • Deadline to submit the registration is Nov. 25th.
  • Judges decisions are FINAL!
